Delicious No Oil Black Bean Burgers WFPBNO #eattolose #KosherPareve #vegan #oilfree


Grilled Black Bean Burgers
Put this simple recipe to the test.

30oz can Black Beans drained.
2 cups cooked brown rice.
2 cups dry rolled oats or oatmeal.
1/2 cup dried onion flakes.
A pinch of white pepper.
1/4 cup Lite Soy Sauce.

Run the oats through your blender or food processor to even out the texture. Put everything in a large mixing bowl and crush it all together with a potato masher until it has the texture of raw hamburger. If its too loose, sprinkle in more oats and mix until you get the desired texture.
Wet your hands and form into patties about 1/2 inch thick. Put them on a baking sheet on parchment paper and bake them at 400 degrees for 40 minutes, then flip them and bake another 5 minutes.  Put them on the grill for 3 minutes for grill marks if desired.

Top with lettuce, tomato, pickle slices, catsup, mustard or whatever you like on a whole grain bun and enjoy!
